Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data held by SamurAI, a product of Murad Logistics LLC.

If you are a SamurAI customer

Disconnect one channel. Log in → Channels → select the channel → Disconnect. This stops SamurAI sending or receiving on that channel. It is deliberately not a deletion: your conversation history, contacts and configuration are kept so you can reconnect the same channel later without losing anything.

Erase a channel's data. If you want the messages and contacts gone as well, email support@getsamurai.ai from your registered address with the subject ERASE CHANNEL DATA and name the channel. We action it within 30 days. Individual contacts can also be deleted at any time from the CRM, which removes that person's record, their messages and their stored profile picture.

Delete your whole account. Email support@getsamurai.ai from your registered address with the subject DELETE MY ACCOUNT. We confirm and action it within 30 days. Individual workspaces can be deleted immediately by their owner from Settings → Danger Zone.

We delete your account data, agent configuration, uploaded documents, conversation history and contacts within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 6 years where the law requires.

If you sent a message to a business using SamurAI

The business you messaged controls that conversation. Contact them first and ask them to delete it — they can do it from their SamurAI inbox.

If you cannot reach them, email support@getsamurai.ai with the phone number, Instagram username or Facebook name you used, and the name of the business. We will confirm within 5 business days and delete or forward the request within 30 days.

Deleting data we received from Meta

Disconnecting a channel stops us calling Meta for it, and we stop using the access token. Data already received through the WhatsApp Business Platform and Instagram API is retained under the standard retention period below, or erased sooner on request — see "Erase a channel's data" above.

You can also revoke our access from Meta's side at any time:

• Facebook / Instagram: Facebook Settings → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find SamurAI → Remove
• WhatsApp: Meta Business Suite → Business Settings → WhatsApp Accounts → remove SamurAI's access

When you revoke from Meta's side, we detect it and delete the associated data within 30 days.

Standard retention

Without any request from you, End User message content and media are automatically and permanently deleted 120 days after the message was sent. Deleting a message inside WhatsApp or Instagram removes it there; it does not by itself remove the copy in your SamurAI inbox, which is covered by this retention period or by a deletion request.

Contact

Requests are acknowledged within 5 business days and completed within 30 days.
